Many thousands of people across the country have been joining the Labour Party in the last few months. In Fife we are asking everyone who has an interest in community activity and wants to see change to join with us. Fife Labour is working to ensure that Labour is at the heart of every community in Fife.
Gordon Brown and Sarah recently met up with one new member, 17 year old Gordon Barlow from Lochgelly who said; “I joined the Labour party just before the General Election. I mainly joined the Labour party because I could match the values they stand for, with ones I fundamentally believe in. The values, principles and objectives of the Labour party are ones which enable people from all walks of life a chance too succeed.
I witnessed injustice within my local community, from Social deprivation and the affects it has on people. I want too make a difference and not have this carry through too next generations. I also think that young people need to become more active in politics, and need to be given the chance”.

In Fife we’ve shown great social cohension, we’ve stood together against these unforgivable cuts Fife Council are implementing. By the strength of our common goal/purpose, we’ve shown that we must not let these cuts go unchallenged.
Labour councillors, members and msp’s have worked extremely hard to desimate these cuts. We cannot lose track of our goal and we must keep the fight going against the SNP/Lib Dem cuts.
Together we are stronger, together we fight back.
